My self-summary
I'm about to move to southern Virginia. So this profile will be totally overhauled in a few months when that happens. Why haven't they added a "hide profile" option?

-
I'm a bit of a geek. I'm into obscure movies, apocalypse lore and ancient history. I tried to learn to speak Sumerian just to use it in a story. My friends laugh at me because I'll get riveted to the television, watching a documentary on tidal waves or the migration of great white sharks.

I talk a lot. And usually in circles. People have mentioned that asking me a question usually results in a longer answer than required. I'm glad that my friends have learned to accept this as quirky.

I am enjoying being outside and active far more than I ever have before. Hiking, running, pretending I know how to ski, jumping out of airplanes.... I'm swiftly becoming an eco-tourist and an adrenaline junkie. I've found a part of me outside that I seem to have misplaced.

I am low maintenance. I am not jealous. I trust easily. I love deeply. I miss my friends. I'm wildly insecure. I don't have as much money as I would like, but I'm working on it. I'm recently divorced, but I'm not bitter about it. I'm an optimist and I'm a pretty down to earth person. So. That's me.

The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. I have a lot of it. Blonde and slightly wavy at the ends. It gets caught in drains and car doors, but people notice it.

It amuses me when people come up to me and inform me, "Hey, you have long hair." As if I never realized it until they pointed it out to me.
